Elevating Maternal Care: Key Updates and Clinical Outcomes in Obstetric Anesthesia

On behalf of the Planning Committee, we are excited to be making plans for the 2024 Toronto Anesthesia Symposium which will take place Saturday and Sunday, April 6 & 7, 2024.

This year’s theme will bring together experts to discuss advances and best practices in obstetric anesthesia, as well as approaches to challenging cases. Lectures, interactive Problem Based Learning Discussions (PBLDs) and hands-on workshops will be presented by internationally recognized University of Toronto faculty and guest speakers.

  • Mrinalini Balki, Professor of Obstetric Anesthesia, University of Toronto, presenting the most up to date research on Maternal Major Hemorrhage and Uterotonics.
  • Presentations on Management of Cardiac and Neurological Conditions in Obstetric Patients.
