terBrugge Lectureship

The Karel G. terBrugge Lectureship was inaugurated in 2015 to honor the legacy of one of the pioneers and leading figures of Interventional and Diagnostic Neuroradiology in the World. Dr. terBrugge has – through his leadership, his research and his teaching, as well as through his clinical expertise – transformed the field of Neuroradiology, as well as the lives of his fellows, students and patients. This lectureship aims to highlight and honor each year an outstanding physician in the field of Interventional and Diagnostic Neuroradiology, Neurology, Neurosurgery or our related disciplines. THe first recipient of this lectureship was – Dr. Terbrugge himself followed in 2016 by Dr. Harry Cloft. The 3rd recipient of the Karel G. terBrugge Lectureship will be Prof. Gabriel Rinkel and he will highlight concepts on development, growth and rupture of aneurysms.
