{"id":123,"date":"2015-12-09T08:30:55","date_gmt":"2015-12-09T13:30:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cpd.utoronto.ca\/ar15\/?page_id=123"},"modified":"2015-12-18T08:36:43","modified_gmt":"2015-12-18T13:36:43","slug":"ideas","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cpd.utoronto.ca\/ar15\/leadership\/ideas\/","title":{"rendered":"IDEAS to Enhance Ontario\u2019s Health System Performance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Improving and Driving Excellence Across Sectors (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cpd.utoronto.ca\/ideas\/\">IDEAS<\/a>) program is a province wide initiative developed in partnership with Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME,) Health Quality Ontario (HQO), Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES) and the six Ontario universities.<\/p>\n<p>This unique program has brought together a diverse group of professionals across all health sectors in Ontario with the aim of building leadership and skills in quality improvement (QI) to enhance Ontario\u2019s health systems performance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">\n\t\t<aside class=\"article-body-callout\n\tarticle-body-callout--right\n\tarticle-body-callout--\n\tarticle-body-callout--collapse\"\n\trole=\"complementary\" aria-labeled-by=\"article-body-callout--headline\">\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"content\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"article-body-callout--leader\"><p>&#8220;I am excited to go back to work and apply my learnings and use the QI tools&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">&#8211; IDEAS participant<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/aside><\/p>\n<p>In the past year, University of Toronto\u2019s CPD has successfully led 5 cohorts of health professionals through a 2-day introductory program. \u00a0243 participants have completed the program. 95% of these participants attended voluntarily and 75% them had no formal QI training.
