The next IDEAS Foundations of Quality Improvement program will be held on September 14 & 21, 2022, in a fully digital format.
This program provides participants with the knowledge and tools to effectively participate in and contribute to quality improvement projects within or across health care organizations. This digital program includes a 2.5-hour asynchronous online component followed by two half-day live webinars.
The e-learning module and online workshops will help you learn to apply the principles of quality improvement for healthcare, explain a quality improvement aim in accordance with the Model for Improvement, explain the application of measurement in accordance with the Model for Improvement, and collaborate with interprofessional team members to contribute effectively on a quality improvement team.
This program is ideal for individuals who are currently, or interested in, participating in a QI project as a team member. This includes clinical staff (physicians, nurses, other healthcare disciplines) as well as administrative health professionals (managers, directors and senior leaders) in a variety of roles and disciplines across the continuum of care.
Past participants have noted the two-day structure of the program is valuable for those new to QI or those looking for a refresher. In a short time, they are able to gain a better understanding of the principles and processes of QI and useful tools to implement QI activities into their organizations.
