Building upon the success of the Breast Cancer Survivorship and Supportive Care International Conference, Dr. Muna Al-Khaifi leads the scientific and educational content development of a digital conference taking place October 30, 2026.
Continuing the conversation, the inaugural Advances in Onco-menopause International Conference will share clinical perspectives on evidence-based menopause care for cancer survivors.
From hormone therapies and managing cognitive changes to the role of nutrition and more, participants will learn about approaches that can support patients navigating menopause throughout the continuum of cancer care.
Reflecting on the inspiration for this new conference, Dr. Al-Khaif shares: “Managing treatment-induced menopause is more than improving quality of life. It is an integral part of cancer care — supporting patients through treatment, promoting adherence, and ultimately contributing to better long-term outcomes.”
Menopause care is becoming an increasingly important part of cancer survivorship, with clinical decisions often spanning oncology, primary care, gynaecology, endocrinology, sexual health, rehabilitation, and supportive care. At this conference, participants will uncover evidence-based strategies to strengthen collaboration and patient care at the intersection of oncology and menopause care.
Expert speakers will share the latest clinical recommendations and explore how health professionals can navigate complex management decisions. Topics include:
- Advances in Metabolic Health & GLP-1 Medications in Cancer Survivorship
- Evidence Around Menopausal Hormone Therapy for Cancer Survivors
- Navigating Menopause, Fertility, and Identity in Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Survivorship
- Protecting Bone Health in Breast Cancer Survivors Receiving Aromatase Inhibitors
