The 8th Annual Cardio-Rheumatology Symposium brings together cardiologists, rheumatologists, respirologists, and nephrologists to address the intersection of cardiovascular disease and rheumatic conditions. The program is organized into three themed sessions: cardiovascular involvement in autoimmune conditions, the cardiovascular safety of rheumatologic therapies (from NSAIDs to biologic and targeted agents), and the emerging role of SGLT2 inhibitors in rheumatic disease management.

The program is delivered as a full-day hybrid symposium (in-person and live-streamed) with each themed session followed by a moderated multidisciplinary panel Q&A, allowing learners to see cardiology and rheumatology perspectives debated side by side. This format is designed to translate emerging evidence into practical, cross-specialty management strategies for a mixed audience of physicians, trainees, and allied health professionals.
