She received her medical degree at the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University, New York City, and did her radiology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Dr. Carde\u00f1osa has written four textbooks on breast imaging (one of which is in a third edition) that are much sought after by all breast radiologists and trainees.<\/p>\n<h2>Guest Speaker<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-thumbnail pull-right\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cpd.utoronto.ca\/breastimaging\/files\/2015\/11\/Tulin-Cil.jpg\" alt=\"Tulin Cil\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tulin Cil, MD FRCSC MEd<\/strong><br \/>\n<small>Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery, University of Toronto<br \/>\nHead, Division of General Surgery, Women\u2019s College Hospital<br \/>\nToronto, Ontario<\/small><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Cil graduated from the University of Western Ontario\u2019s medical school in 2000 and received her general surgery training at the University of Toronto and UWO, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2005. After completing her general surgery training, she undertook research studies as a graduate student in medical education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, U of T, and received a master\u2019s degree in education in 2008. She also completed a clinical fellowship in breast surgical oncology at U of T during this period.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Cil began her general surgery staff appointment at Women\u2019s College Hospital and the University Health Network in 2008. Her practice is devoted to the care of patients with breast disease, and general surgery. Dr. Cil\u2019s main clinical focus is breast surgical oncology. She works closely with members of the division of plastic surgery, through her work with WCH\u2019s Breast Reconstruction Program \u2013 which has a combined focus on oncology and plastic surgery. Dr. Cil was recently appointed to lead the division of general surgery at Women\u2019s College Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Cil is affiliated with the Wilson Centre at UHN where her research in surgical education focuses on innovative teaching strategies and mechanisms of learning surgical skills.<\/p>\n<h2>Planning Committee:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Kartik S.
