Dr. Margaret Robinson

Margaret Robinson is a bisexual, queer, and two-spirit scholar from Nova Scotia and a member of Lennox Island First Nation. She conducted her postdoctoral training at the Centre for Addiction & Mental Health in Toronto, examining bisexual women’s use of cannabis in Ontario and two-spirit people’s concepts of mental health and wellness. She now holds a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Reconciliation, Gender, and Identity at Dalhousie University in Halifax, where her community-driven research examines the benefits of cultural identity, language, and the arts to promote wellbeing.
