J. Morgan Micheletti<\/strong> MD FACS<\/small>Cataract, Refractive, and Complex Anterior Segment SurgeryBiography<\/button>\n <\/p>\n\n
J. Morgan Micheletti, MD, FACS is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and complex anterior segment surgery. He was named to the Best Cataract Surgeons in America list, recognized as Castle Connolly Top Doctor, received the award for Incredible Innovation and Scientific Contribution from RW Ophthalmology, and was recently named to the top 40 under 40 list of ophthalmologists in the United States.<\/p>\n
He is an innovator who has created multiple surgical instruments with 3 patent pending devices at present. He has developed novel approaches to surgical challenges such as the \u201cpunch and rescue\u201d technique for dislocated IOLs and the modified twist and out technique for IOL exchange, both of which were recently published in the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.<\/p>\n
He is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, a fellow of the American Academy of ophthalmology (AAO), and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He serves on the AAO ONE Network Cataract Committee and the Young Eye Surgeons committee for the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is also a member of the Health Policy Committee for the Society for Excellence in Eyecare. He is an active member of the American-European Congress of Ophthalmic Surgery (AECOS), the Texas Ophthalmological Association, and the Houston Ophthalmological Society.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
