This CPD activity is a live webinar series designed for primary care providers and specialists involved in cancer screening and follow-up care. It will focus on current Ontario Health-Cancer Care Ontario’s evidence-based guidelines for the four Ontario Cancer Screening Programs (Ontario Breast Screening Program, ColonCancerCheck, Ontario Cervical Screening Program, and Ontario Lung Screening Program). Sessions will review updates on screening recommendations, patient risk assessment, appropriate testing, and coordination of timely referrals and follow-up care. Each one hour webinar will feature expert-led presentations, live polling, case-based discussions, and interactive Q&A segments. A dedicated session will highlight clinical tools and resources to support effective screening and follow-up in primary care. The series will emphasize practical strategies, person-centred care, and strategies for quality improvement approaches to enhance screening uptake and patient outcomes. Participants will gain the knowledge and tools needed to apply guidelines confidently and consistently in practice.
