This standard allows CPD to review and assess educational activities based on the criteria established by The College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.<\/p><p>The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Royal College) has established agreements with each of the American Medical Association (AMA), and the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME\u00ae) where activities approved for Royal College MOC Credits are eligible for conversion to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit\u2122 and UEMS-EACCME European CME Credit (ECMEC\u00ae) credits, respectively.<\/p><br \/>\n<!--\n\n<p><strong>Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada \u2013 Section 1<\/strong><br \/>\n\tThis event has been approved by the Canadian Paediatric Society for a maximum of 10 credit hours as an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The specific opinions and content of this event are not necessarily those of the CPS, and are the responsibility of the organizer(s) alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>American Medical Association \u2013 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit\u2122 Designation<\/strong><br \/>\n  Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits\u2122.
