{"id":4,"date":"2015-04-14T13:28:10","date_gmt":"2015-04-14T13:28:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cpd.utoronto.ca\/cpfm\/?page_id=4"},"modified":"2025-07-08T16:30:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-08T20:30:09","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cpd.utoronto.ca\/cpfm\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Program Objectives<\/h2>\n<p>This interactive program will provide an intensive year-long introductory curriculum on current approaches and techniques to help physicians increase their knowledge and clinical skills in office counselling and psychotherapy.<\/p>\n<p>At the conclusion of this program, participants will have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Increased their feeling of competence in office counselling and psychotherapy<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced their ability to work with psychosocial issues and the patient-doctor relationship<\/li>\n<li>Increased the time they spend in practice doing psychotherapy with individuals and families or couples<\/li>\n<li>Increased their overall comfort levels in counselling individuals, couples and families<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Target Audience<\/h2>\n<p>Family Physicians in active practice who are either doing or considering to do Counselling and Psychotherapy as part of their practice.
