Course Information

This is the second annual University of Toronto Medical Imaging CME dedicated to an audience of Family Physicians. The 2015 inaugural event attracted over 180 family physicians.

Program Highlights

The program is divided into the following main sessions:

Imaging Appropriateness – Choosing the correct imaging test for common family medicine indications

Management of Common and Incidental Findings in Imaging Reports – Deciphering radiology reports to help in your patient’s management

Additional highlights include

  • Neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal, pelvic, cardiac, chest, and breast imaging topics relevant to family medicine
  • An additional lecture addressing MRI knowledge gaps based on the results of a University of Toronto research study
  • Our speakers include over ten University of Toronto faculty radiologists from across three University of Toronto teaching hospitals
  • Interactive Q&A time after each session for audience members to “ask the radiologist” questions
