Dr. Lee is a gastrointestinal medical oncologist and clinical faculty in the Department of Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He provides patient care at the MD Anderson main campus GI center and the West Houston clinic. He is one of the main authors of the MD Anderson Manual of Medical Oncology on hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer) and biliary tract cancers (bile duct and gallbladder cancer) and a PI and co-PI of clinical trials and research studies in the areas of liver, bile duct, pancreatic, and colorectal cancer. Dr. Lee and his team ranked in the top 1% nationally, recognized for excellent care and communication with patients and families in 2020 as noted in CG-CAHPS. As a physician-scientist, he has expertise in genomic and imaging analyses and biological physics.
