Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, parking is complimentary for conference attendees.

How to do I get there by public transit?
Using the GO Train Milton line, the closest GO train stop to the venue is Meadowvale Station. From the Meadowvale GO station, you can take the 27C Meadowvale GO bus or the Mississauga transit to Mississauga Rd. at Argentia Rd. stop. From this stop, head northwest on Mississauga Rd toward Argentia Rd for 3 min and the Hilton Meadowvale will be on the left.

What is the dress code for the conference?
There is no dress code. However, the meeting rooms tend to run cold so bring a sweater or jacket.

Will there be a coat check?
Limited and unstaffed coat racks will be available at the back wall of the plenary room – Graydon Hall. U of T is not responsible for any lost or stolen items, so we suggest that attendees do not bring any large bags or items they cannot keep with them.

Will the conference provide any food?
Yes, breakfast, lunch and light refreshments during the breaks will be available on all three days of the conference. You should make plans for dinner, and you are welcome to bring snacks if you would like.

What time should I arrive?
Registration opens at 7:00 AM on all three days of the conference. You should always try to arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before the panel / keynote / workshop, this will give you time to register and get access to the sessions on time.

I am an exhibitor – When can I arrive to set up?
Exhibitors can start arriving to set up on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 between 7:00 PM and 9 PM or Thursday, May 24 after 6 AM.

Can I register onsite?
Yes, you can register onsite using a credit card. Students will also be required to provide a proof of status.

When does pre-registration close?
Online pre-registration will close on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 11: 59 PM but you are welcome to register onsite.

How do I register for the sessions, oral presentations or workshops?
Sessions, oral presentations and workshops are open to all conference registrants and do not require prior pre-selection. Some sessions will be more popular so arrive early to ensure a seat.

I just want to attend one session. Can I register for only the session?
Individuals wanting to participate in one session must register for a one-day fee for that day. Only registered participants can attend sessions or other conference events.

When will I receive my accreditation letter for the conference?
You will receive your accreditation letter via email 3 weeks after the conference.

What is the cancellation policy for the conference?
Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after April 13, 2018. A processing fee of $60.00 + 13% HST will be retained on all cancellations. Requests for refunds must be made in writing. Registrations are not transferable.
