This first Toronto Educational Summit on Learning Analytics in Med Ed (TESLA) welcomes individuals interested in questions of research and implementation of learning analytics tools in medical education. It is aimed at building a broad community of interest in Learning Analytics. Come to learn and network.
Goals and Objectives
Attendees will experience examples of learning analytics implementations through engaging in interactive and collaborative learning. By the end of our program, participants will be able to:
- Describe the use of learning analytics in medical education, and be able to provide examples from undergraduate and postgraduate medical education
- Describe the conceptual and practical steps in creating a learning analytics implementation and understand required resources for development
- Apply a learning analytics framework and approach to educational issues in your particular context
