TISS Conference 2025 (TISS-Funded Research Poster)

Thank you for presenting your TISS Funded Research at the Tanenbaum Institute for Science in Sport Conference at the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport on September 26–27, 2025.

Your Poster Presentation will consist of a physical poster measuring no larger than 6 ft wide by 3 ft high and will be on display for both days of the conference. You are expected to be at your poster during poster viewing times:

  • Friday September 26 at Lunch (1315-1415) and Networking Reception (1630-1730)
  • Saturday September 27 at Lunch (1315-1415) and Networking Reception (1630-1730)

Consult your notification email or the Poster Index for your poster number.

This web page will guide you through a series of tasks for your presentation. Please complete all the tasks by the deadlines listed below.

1 Submit your Project Details

All TISS Funded Research Project Presenters are required to complete the Project Details Form. The information provided will be included in the TISS Conference Abstract Book.

2 Preparing your Poster

Poster Size Requirements

The maximum space allocated for posters is 6 ft wide by 3 ft high.

Posters look best when its measurements are smaller than the poster board (i.e. smaller than 6 ft x 3 ft)

Velcro/pushpins will be provided to attach your poster to the board

TISS Ongoing Research Poster

Recipients of TISS funding are to present their ongoing research at the conference.

There is no requirement to present results or data (unless some is available), just the research area, question, background rationale proposed approach and potential impact are some of the areas that can be addressed on the poster.

TISS Poster Printing Expense

The Tanenbaum Institute for Science in Sport will cover poster printing costs.

To claim your printing expense:

  1. Complete the yellow portions of the Expense Form. Please ensure the Expense Form file is named: TISS-Poster #-Expense Form so we are able to easily track it.
  2. Include a copy of your poster printing receipt showing the method of payment
  3. Submit both files by email to CPD Conference Services after the conference

Patient Confidentiality

All presentations must comply with patient confidentiality agreements. Patient names should not be used, and images must not contain identifiable features (e.g., institutional location of scan, date of scan, patient date of birth, MRN, photography that shows facial or other identifiable features etc.).

3 At the Conference

On conference day, please check in at the registration desk with your poster number which can be found here.

Poster Setup Time: Friday, September 26 between 0900-0945
Poster Takedown Time: Saturday, September 27 after 1700


Presenters are expected to be by their posters to answer questions during viewing times. Poster viewing times for each day are below.
