Dr. McAnanama completed his undergraduate education at the University of Manitoba and his graduate work at the University of Toronto. He trained and was supervised in IPT through the Western Psychiatric Clinic in Pittsburgh in 1993 and shortly afterwards co-founded the first IPT Clinic in Canada. Dr. McAnanama has participated as a study-therapist in 3 different IPT research studies. He is recognized as a skilled IPT supervisor and trainer.
