Traveling to Canada
Canada has introduced the Electronic Travel Authorization, a new border entry requirement, known as an eTA, for visa-exempt foreign nationals traveling to Canada by air. Exceptions include United States citizens and those with a valid Canadian visa. Entry requirements for other methods of travel (land, sea) have not changed. Eligible travelers can apply online for an eTA at a cost of $7 CDN. This entry requirement is mandatory and travelers will need an eTA before they can board a flight to Canada.
Visit http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/eta.asp for more information about the electronic travel authorization (ETA) and how to apply.
Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after June 4, 2017. A processing fee of $60 will be retained on all cancellations. Requests for cancellation must be made in writing. Registrations are not transferable. The University of Toronto reserves the right to cancel events. Registrants will be notified at the earliest possible date in the event of a cancellation. Registration fees for events cancelled by the University will be refunded; however the University will not be liable for any loss, damages or other expenses that such cancellations may cause.
