Dr. Caroline Tait

Dr. Caroline Tait is a member of the Métis Nation-Saskatchewan and grew up in her community and culture near Batoche, Saskatchewan. She is a medical anthropologist and a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Saskatchewan. She received her training at McGill University, UC-Berkeley and Harvard University. She has worked in the area of mental health and addictions and the experience of Indigenous peoples for over 20 years. Dr. Tait is the nominated PI of the CIHR funded Saskatchewan First Nations and Metis Health Research Center and the National Coordinating Center for all of the CIHR Indigenous research centers across Canada.
