This session explores findings from a study on dual accreditation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and introduces emerging insights from broader accreditation scholarship, including a forthcoming scoping review. Through discussion and reflection, attendees will be invited to consider the value of dual accreditation from the perspective of CPD program directors, discuss the opportunities of accreditation scholarship, and the possibilities of integrating scholarly practice alongside everyday Health Professions Education work.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

• Reflect on the opportunities for accreditation scholarship to enhance education and health system integration.
• Describe the purpose and processes of CPD and dual accreditation.
• Analyze program directors’ perspectives on the value of dual accreditation.
