- Evaluate the role of MRI-TRUS fusion biopsy vs 12-core biopsy in detection of prostate cancer
- Describe criteria for patient selection for focal therapy in prostate cancer
- Discuss advances in minimally invasive focal therapy of prostate cancer
PROSTATE MRI WORKSHOP – OCTOBER 1, 2016
This teaching course provides the essentials of prostate MRI for radiologists who are interested in engaging in this emerging field and it delivers key learning points through interactive discussion of challenging cases for radiologists who are already reporting prostate MRI.
The participants will acquire in-depth knowledge of how to perform and interpret prostate MRI and then will apply this knowledge in the detection of prostate cancer using multi-parametric MR image cases. Students will also learn to use the new PIRADS v2 for assessment and standardized reporting.
The learning objectives are delivered through:
- A series of didactic lectures presented by experts in the field.
- Hands-on Interactive evaluation of 50 Prostate MRI cases studies with the experts.
