Dr Scott Reeves

Dr Scott Reeves is the Director of Research at the Centre for Faculty Development, St. Michael’s Hospital, an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto, a Scientist at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of St Michael’s Hospital and at the Wilson Centre for Research in Education, and Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Interprofessional Care. He is a social scientist who has been undertaking health professions education and health services research for over fifteen years. His main research interests are exploring and evaluating the processes and outcomes related to interprofessional education and practice by use of ethnographic, mixed methods and systematic review.

He recently edited a special theme of ‘continuing interprofessional education’ for the Journal of Continuing Education for the Health Professions and has a new book on interprofessional teamwork due for publication in 2010 by Blackwell-Wiley.
