The Office of CEPD is pleased to welcome a new member to our team! Teresinha Costa started this month as Graphics Coordinator and is busy working on materials for our spring and fall courses. Teresinha may be new to our office, but already has a relationship with the University of Toronto. She volunteers at the university radio station on the St. George campus and spent a term studying at U of T while finishing her degree. Teresinha has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from York University and has always had an appreciation for words and images. Working on a self-published Zine drew her to graphics and she honed her talents by taking design courses at OCAD. Her previous experience has mostly been in the not-for-profit sector working on graphics for The Hanen Centre, a Canadian charitable organization that teaches Speech-Language Pathologists and Early Childhood Educators. She’s looking forward to learning more through her work in the Office of CEPD and sees lots of opportunity for growth. The next time you view some of our course materials, you may see her work!
