Enhance Your Online Teaching Skills With CPD Program This Fall

There is still time to sign up for CPD’s Teaching with Technology, returning online this fall, starting September 14. The 40-hour accredited program is designed to help enhance your digital skill set for teaching using education technology.

Going beyond the basics of educating in an online environment, this program will help you effectively integrate online pedagogical design into successful teaching.

Teaching with Technology will help you:

  • Distinguish yourself with expertise in educational technology –an essential skill today
  • Explore several online tools and techniques including Zoom, Twitter, Padlet and Flipgrid
  • Learn how to incorporate effective teaching strategies into your technology enhanced teaching and consider how issues such as privacy and copyright factor into your teaching online
  • Create your own content such as a website, infographic, video or zoom presentation on educational technology

This digital certificate program will run entirely online from September 14, 2021, through April 12, 2022, with sessions held from 5:30pm to 7:30pm (ET) on Tuesdays. It will include both synchronous virtual in-class sessions and office hours, as well as asynchronous (outside of class hours) homework between classes.

This program is open to domestic and international learners. Healthcare educators (physicians, clinicians, nurses), healthcare administrators and interprofessional educators are all encouraged to apply.
