Dear Colleague,
The 15th Biennial Canadian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Symposium was the first national Orthopaedic foot and ankle meeting conducted in person after the pandemic. It was our most successful meeting since it was well attended and provided participants with a national forum to meet with colleagues across the country as we moved out of lockdown. Furthermore, the University of Toronto Biennial Foot and Ankle Symposium’s success is due to the combination of excellent speakers, enthusiastic participants, and exhibitors.
With the success of our Biennial course, a national annual course has been started in collaboration with the Canadian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. Each year 300 health professionals attend the course, and approximately 87% are Orthopaedic surgeons.
We will be holding an accredited surgical teaching lab at Mount Sinai Hospital on April 4, 2024, before the start of the meeting. We will have a national panel of Canadian experts from coast to coast presenting at our meeting. We expect another great turnout due to our invited North American and international speakers.
Our surgical lab meeting will focus on ortho biologics, minimally invasive (MIS) foot surgery and trauma, post-traumatic reconstruction, external/circular ring fixators, and total ankle replacement. This will be a fully accredited hands-on surgical lab with one-on-one teaching by expert faculty.
There is space for approximately 30-35 exhibits for this 2-day meeting. The exhibits will be available to the course participants during both days of the course. There is limited space, and priority will be given to those that commit early. The fee for the 2-day exhibit during the Symposium is outlined in the attached brochure.
