TISS Conference 2024 (Poster Presentations)

Congratulations on being accepted to present a poster at the Tanenbaum Institute for Science in Sport Conference at the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport on September 14–15, 2024.

Your Poster Presentation will consist of a physical poster measuring no larger than 6 ft wide by 3 ft high and will be on display for both days of the conference. You are expected to be at your poster during poster viewing times:

  • Saturday, September 14 at Lunch (1330-1430) and Networking Reception (1800-1845)
  • Sunday, September 15 at Lunch (1300-1400) and Networking Reception (1745-1830)

Consult your acceptance email or the Poster Abstract Index for your poster abstract number.

This web page will guide you through a series of tasks for your presentation. Please complete all the tasks by the deadlines listed below.

1 Confirm your Participation

  1. Confirm your intent to present by replying to your acceptance email.
  2. Register for the conference. All presenting authors must register for both days the conference in order to participate.

2 Preparing your Poster

Poster Size Requirements

The maximum space allocated for posters is 6 ft wide by 3 ft high.

Posters look best when its measurements are smaller than the poster board (i.e. smaller than 6 ft x 3 ft)

Velcro/pushpins will be provided to attach your poster to the board

Patient Confidentiality

All presentations must comply with patient confidentiality agreements. Patient names should not be used, and images must not contain identifiable features (e.g., institutional location of scan, date of scan, patient date of birth, MRN, photography that shows facial or other identifiable features etc.).

3 At the Conference

On conference day, please check in at the registration desk with your poster number which can be found here.

Poster Setup Time: Saturday September 14, 2024 between 0900-0945
Poster Takedown Time: Sunday September 15, 2024 after 1800

Presenters are expected to be by their posters to answer questions during viewing times. Poster viewing times for each day are below.

Saturday, September 14, 2024:

  • Lunch: 1330-1430
  • Networking Reception: 1800-1845

Sunday, September 15, 2024:

  • Lunch: 1300-1400
  • Networking Reception: 1745-1830
