Heather MacNeill

Heather has been creating and researching the effect of educational technologies in healthcare over the past decade and has been teaching EduTech HPE graduate course at University of Toronto since its inception in 2014. She is Faculty lead, Educational Technologies in the Faculty of Medicine, Office of Continuing Professional Development. She is the recipient of the Fred Fallis and Fox award for her work in the area of elearning, with a particular focus in the area of online collaboration. She is a physiatrist and medical director of stroke rehabilitation at Sinai Health System in Toronto.

Kataryna Nemethy

Kataryna Nemethy

Kataryna Nemethy is the manager of eLearning and EdTech at Baycrest Health Sciences. She has over 10 years’ experience in the field of eLearning, instructional design and educational technologies. As a graduate of Biomedical Sciences at University of Toronto, she is passionate about the interface between education, technology and design. She co-instructs the EduTech HPE graduate course at the University of Toronto with Dr. Heather Macneill and continues to consult as an instructional designer, eLearning developer and medical illustrator/animator.
