The webinar series will discuss adaptive platform trial (APT) designs in critical care and review the various domains of the PRACTICAL platform trial. We welcome healthcare professionals to participate in our comprehensive webinar series designed to elevate clinical and research practices, and promote continuous learning. The webinar series will cover essential principles, trial infrastructure, strategies for implementation, insights gained, and the administration of APTs. We will introduce Bayesian statistics and adaptive trial design. It will include discussions on the advantages and disadvantages of APTs, practical tips for operationalizing them, best practices, valuable techniques, and challenges faced in ensuring the effective operation of APTs. We envision 50 – 80 attendees joining from around the world. The webinar series will be delivered as online synchronous learning, consisting of a series of lectures and examples. Each lecture will engage the audience through an interactive case requiring audience voting at several points. There will be time for Q&A at the end of each lecture.
