Two Fall Programs Offer a Path to the New CPD Credential

Starting this October, two of CPD’s certificate programs return in digital interactive form. Designed to help improve effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery of CPD programs, CPD Foundations and Leading and Influencing Change, can help health care professionals engaged in continuing professional development activities.

The Certificate Program in CPD Foundations emphasizes fundamental theory and skill training needed to create effective and successful continuing professional development activities.

Through 10 interactive webinar modules that run from October 2021 to June 2022, participants will learn about program design, planning models and how to achieve results with their CPD programs. Review the full schedule of dates and topics.

The Leading and Influencing Change in CPD Certificate Program in Health Professions Education aims to build leadership capacity, providing participants with the knowledge and tools to lead continuing education initiatives for health professionals in our complex health care environment.

Back-to-back boot camps in October 2021, followed by 11 three-hour modules culminating in June 2022, cover a range of relevant topics including Best Practices in CPD Design and Delivery, Partnerships and Collaborations across Sectors and Patient Engagement. See the full schedule for more details.

Those who successfully complete both of these programs can apply through the certificate route for the CPC (HC) Credential, a new formal designation for those professionally engaged in CPD, offered by the Coalition for Physician Learning and Practice Improvement.
