Preparing Your Accreditation Application

To ensure a smooth review process, we advise you to begin the accreditation application process well before our submission deadline of 10 weeks before your program or conference start date.

We strongly advise you to make use of the provided templates and guides in our resources section to ensure compliance with accreditation standards. We will provide updates on accreditation changes periodically through our updates page.

Once your program is approved, it will be promoted on the U of T CPD website and CFPC (if applicable) event listings, another great reason to apply early.

Accreditation Fees

Accreditation fees are based on the type of program you’re offering. Most programs fall under our Standard Program category, which is assessed at 10% of participant registration fees. To ensure fairness and consistency, minimum and maximum fees per registrant apply. For a full breakdown of fee types, review our Accreditation Fees Chart.

Programs that are required by the CFPC to undergo content review will also see an additional charge, determined by credit hours.

Late Submissions

We understand that timelines can shift. If your application is submitted less than 10 weeks before the start date, a late fee will apply.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to review applications submitted within 2 weeks of the program start date. If you’re in a time crunch, please reach out and we’ll do our best to guide you through the options.
